All board and committee meetings are held at 1915 E. Michigan Ave., Ste. D, Lansing, MI 48912. Meetings are publicly announced and minutes from board meetings are posted for AA members to review.
General Board
1st Monday 6 p.m.
The general board is made up of group representatives from the Lansing area. They meet monthly to discuss issues and matters involving their groups and AA as a whole. All groups get one vote on the board with their representative. Any AA member can and is encouraged to attend.
Executive Board
3rd Monday 5:30 p.m.
The executive board is elected by the general board and handles the administrative, policy and procedural issues related to Lansing Central AA. Issues regarding finance, employees, the facility are an example. Any AA member can and is encouraged to attend.
Activities Committee
2nd Thursday 5:30 p.m.
The Activities Committee plans and coordinates AA events that encourage fellowship, deeper understanding of Steps and Traditions, as well as for fundraising. All AA members are encouraged to join, contribute ideas and perform service at these events.
